A Bad Start for a New Year

1st i was so busy with housework, next i was down with a few days to complete hui xun, then my maid didn't came back, followed by my mum resigned to handle the maid issue, and NOW! i lost my handphone AGAIN!!!!!!!!! it was the second time this thing happened and i don't want to elaborate on it here. i just want to inform you that don't bother to message me for the time being. maybe after i get a second hand phone and after i renewed my sim card. yah...

hehe... i'm at SPH now!!! well, i need to do something so i'm here! still waiting for some stuff to be done so i'm blogging now!anyway, i just update a bit on what i did yesterday. i went to a 庆功宴 for Fun报Party committee members. and ironically, i am NOT a member of the Fun报Party Committee... hehez... so why can i go to the 庆功宴? haha, just because i'm in 中央, that's why i get the chance to attend the celebration. we went to a Hong Kong tea house at Kallang area, the food there is really delicious!!! ^_^ i think it is the best buffet ever given by SPH for celebrations like this. after that, we went back to SPH to do 漫画达人. so basically, it's all about SPH yesterday, as usual. then after that, i went to Otori Japanese Restaurant to find my sister there. hehe, i left my sister there for my uncle to take care. after that, just went home.
so today, i'm back at SPH for 出版 stuff. as usual, other than saturdays and during my mum's off days, i need to take care of my sister. so i've to bring her down here again. i bought her cha siew rice from the coffee shop opposite SPH as her lunch then left her to run about herself. it's a sunday, so you won't have to worry that she will disturb the working staff there. hehez... now, lucky there is a kind girl over here who can play with my sister. good for her as i'm busy with my stuff. (yah, here blogging though...)
when i'm back home, i doubt i would have time to go online anymore. T_T my absence from home has already left tonnes of housework to keep me busy... yah... think that's all now... byez...

okz, sorry for not updating my blog for a long time... well, please read about my situation in my Clog, don't want to re-write everything again as I'm really SO tired now... T_Tanyway, I'll try to update as much as possible... starting from last saturday... (sorry if I couldn't write too much details or if there is a typo error as I'm really falling asleep liao)
Saturday (9th December)
Today is the official day that I'm back to my work at SPH since I got back from china. well, there is damn lot's of things to do. the most important thing is my duties as a 出版 committee member. my duties are kind of different from the tradditional 出版 member as I am an Artist and not a journalist. normally, the 出版 would be a journalist who is in-charge of correcting the language and format of the internal magazine 会讯. So, as an Artist, I could not do that. I mean I could do it if I want to but I'm not trained to do this kind of thing, which means to say that in these aspects, I'm kind of useless. however, my duties are important in the sense that because I'm the Artist, I am in-charged of Quality Controlling all comics and photographs for 会讯 AND correcting the Comic Fastfood's produciton of 漫画达人. In addition, I have to draw up proposals for workshops for ALL members (which includes journalist, Artist and photographers). sounds kind of cool yah? well, since i couldn't do the mainstream job of a 出版, I'll have to do all these... lolz...and yah, that day was full of administrative work, so nothing much to talk about...
Sunday (10th December)
Well, if you are wondering who will do the housework when the maid is away the whole day on saturday, it's the maid again. Today, I spent the whole day doing all the unfinished housework left from yesteray. so there is nothing much to talk about here. Don't ask me what my brothers did, there's nothing for me to list.
In the evening, I brought my sister to Jurong East Central. My mum was transferred to the outlet at JEC, so we went there to cheer her up. after that we went to shop a for my sister's school bag. she's going on to primary 1 next year at St. Anthony's Primary School, the same school that all of my brothers and I went. after getting her bag, we had our dinner at JE Entertainment Centre's food court. sadly, we went pass a neoprint shop and there goes the pestering of my sister for it. so we took the neoprints. i'll upload it on the next entry... and yah, that's all for that day...
Monday (11th December)
once again, nothing much today happened. I did housework in the morning, then I went to meet Yvon at our house's market place's KFC for lunch, with my sister with me f course. she needs to return me winter clothes that i'd lent her for the china trip so we met up and catch up a bit. but well, it rained when we wanted to leave, so it just gave us an excuse to talk longer and for me to stay away from housework longer. in the end, still back to reality. haiz...
Tuesday (12th December)
Did i memtion that i'm applying for a schlorship? not at all? ok sorry about that. and well, i applied for a schlorship from SPH. it comes with a bond of 4 years as a journalist after graduation from local university, or 6 years from overseas university. the procedues are as follows: Filling in of Application Form, Writting Test, 1st Interview, 6 months Internship, 2nd Interview and then they'll decide whether they'll want you.
and today, I went to take the writing test. well, i applied for a chinese newspaper so i have to take the test in mandarin. it's just a language test. you are required to write an essay, fill in the correct words, correct the sentences, and translate a passage in 3 hours.
HOWEVER, I need to take care of my sister. no one can take care of her at home, so i need someone to help. luckily, after the written test i have a meeting with my Comic Fastfood people at PeiXuan's house, who lives at Ang Mo Kio. So i just trouble her a bit and drop my sister at her house first then proceed to SPH for the test. poor PeiXuan who has to take on my sister's temperament. (those who know my sister, you'll know what i mean)
anyway, back to the test. I went to the human resource department and had the test. there was another candidate taking the test too but she had an english test. so we both sat there for 3 hours scribbling with pens. the sad thing was, i didnt finish the paper. i missed the essay part and finished the paper early (without the essay part of course). and while i was checking through the paper with ease, I realized the essay's existence, with only 40 minutes left. on shit. in the end, i only managed to finish 2 pages of essay. imagine i could write 6 pages for my essays during chinese composition exams. i'm SO dead.
let's not talk about the doomed. i headed towards Ang Mo Kio to meet JiaMing so that we could go to Peixuan's house together. the rest was just meeting with them for 漫画达人. the january issue of the internal magazine is a newly reformed version, so 中央 have to do it. thus PeiXuan and JiaMing, leaders of Comic Fastfood, and I have to be in-charged of 漫画达人. That's so the sad. but anyway, we did some stuff and planned another meeting on friday, 15th of december. my sister was a prick that day. i really wonder why she always shows her temperament in front of others. when she was alone with me, she's so 乖.
Wednesday (13th December)
Really, there's nothing to talk about unless you want me to talk about housework. -_-''' i'm out the whole day yesterday and so today's my retribution.
Thursday (14th December)
today is a happy day. haha. it's the off day of both my mum and uncle. hehe... which means to say the maid gets an off day today too! (cause they are bringing me and my sister out)
before that, i met forest at about noon time. she also needs to return me my winter clothes that i lent her for the china trip. so i brought my sister to westmall mos burger to have lunch and wait for forest. we did catch up a bit then after that i went home to change to go out... hehez...
we went down to bugis to find my mum, who had set off earlier to do some stuff and then shop at bugis. to compensate us for waiting for her to shop, she treated us to fish & co for dinner. YUM YUM! i ate new york fish and chips. the cheese sauce is really DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! really, go try and you will know that i not exaggerating.
after that, we went to the huge This Fashion store. well, since we have a member card, so we just drop by to see whether we could get something. the thing about This Fashion is that you can only get really nice stuff if you really look carefully. since they are relatively cheaper, my mum likes to go there and fish some clothes. haha. i bought 2 basic top, a jeans and a jacket. yap, and we just went home after that (and of course to do housework)
Friday (15th December)
Finally, i reached friday. phew... as i've mentioned earlier, i've got a meeting with Peixuan and Jiaming at SPH today. and similarly, i need to take my sister along with me. so i went there and bought a mcdonalds kid's meal for my sister as her lunch before proceeding into SPH. at friday weekly's office, i was really afraid that the staff would chase my sister away. however, luckily, there was only 5 staff working there today, and they kind of like my sister a lot! so yah, guessed i'd worried a bit too much. anyway, my sister have night class tonight at 7pm, so i have to leave SPH on time for the class. nthe worse thing is that my sister had SPELLING tonight! and SHE DIDN'T TELL ME!!! so i was teaching her spelling at SPH, while trying to do my stuff... haiz... today is just another tired day, and i'm really tired now. i drew the comic that i put up on my Clog while i was waiting for my sister to be dismissed at 8pm. guess what, my sister got 10/10 for the spelling!!! i'm so proud of her. ^_^
we got home and i was rushing with housework again. lucky my brothers helped a bit with the dishes (as they are the only ones eating at home today) so i just wash, hang, iron and fold the clothes. so tired now... tomorrow i'm still going to SPH. so have to sleep le... NIGHTS!!!

Went to a Concert Yesterday!

well, i went to a concert organized by ABC beer yesterday! ^_^ The singers present are Mayday, Pin Guan and some guy from china. well, it's not that unknown-to-me singer is unpopular, but he is an old singer, and majority of the songs sang by him are totally alien to me. imagine Pin Guan is a fan of him since 10 years old...Anyway, i didn't buy the tickets. I won them on a lucky draw at westmall. my mum was buying something and the receipt can be used to exchange an opportunity to draw. so, i just try my luck as ordered by my mum, and TA-DA! 2 tickets to the concert. my mum actually wants to go with me, however, she couldn't get an off day yesterday. thus, i went with Connie instead.
overall, it was enjoyable (not to mention the initial part where the china guy sings). the greatest fun was when Mayday came out. I stood and jumped throughout the period when they are on stage. really, i was SO HIGH jumping with Mayday's song... haha.
Also, it happens that chang yong is a fan of Mayday. and obviously, he will go and had gone to the concert too. so since it was his birthday today, and i cant meet him today, i just passed him the present yesterday during the concert.
i don't think i've mentioned about my situation now. well, my maid is back to her country for a month. so during this period, i have to stay home as much as possible to do housework and take care of my 6 year old sister. even if i do want to go out, like yesterday, i have to make sure i instruct my lazy brothers to do something and there is at least someone at home to take care of my sister. sad life. so i've missed the opportunity to start work during december. T_T
anyway, it's my mum's off day today. so we, as in my mum, sister and i, went out to catch a movie at orchard. of course, the instructing was left for my mother to do, i can save some breathe. so i watched "Happy Feet", obviously at the demand of my sister. but the show was nice. kind of educational and it actually reflects a lot of our society. the penguins are personify and they show the true human nature.
yah. think that's all for today. having not done any housework today, there seems to be lots to do now. my excuse to take a break is wearing off now. i will talk about my graduation night once i've collected my pictures. ^_^ nights!

My China Trip

ok, finally i'm done uploading all the photos to photobucket.com. phew! there are damn lot's of pictures for you all to see, so i'll write less and let you all see more pictures. :)First, on the 20th of november, i took the flight SQ of don't know what flight number at around 4pm plus. the evening fligh would mean that we would reach shanghai at about 10pm. for the first day, i did not follow my school to the hotel in shanghai. i asked for permission to be with my father for one day. this is because the tour on the 21st is around Suzhou, and majority of the places of Suzhou i had been there when i was young. so, i've requested to accompany my father instead. ^_^

Before going to China

i'm so sorry that i've been quite busy this few days. after i've came back from China, I'm so busy preparing for my graduation night. phew... anyway, i'm trying to continue from where i had left last time. to avoid a damn long entry, i've decided to separate the entries into before, during and after China Trip.yah, so before going to China, it's on the 19th of november, sunday, i went to meet my secondary school friends. we met at 1pm at Somerset. had a tea time at Swensens' with sundaes. after that, the usual practice, NEOPRINTS!!! ^_^ i've decided to write less and put up more pictures, so the following are all our pictures!
ok, i'm going to just mention the names once, cause they are all the same and i am too lazy to repeat everything. so at the back row we have hui ting showing three quarters of her face, then stella on her right, followed by Connie. then the largest face with popping eyes on the left is Ai wen then me in the middle. yah.
